Yours & Owls Festival‘s “doozy” of a 2017 lineup just got even doozier, with the addition of two new stages and a swarm of extra acts.
More than 30 artists have been added to this year’s bill courtesy of the newly minted Rad Stage and BF5: Das Schmeltz Haus stage, which have been curated by Rad Bar venue owner Daniel Radburn and the brains behind Y & O’s past rave caves (Panoptes Palace and The Trance Mahal) respectively.
The Rad stage will see an eclectic mix of acts including garage punks Body Type, hardcore outfit Break A Leg, Brissie three-piece Good Boy and triple j Unearthed-ees RAAVE TAPES.
“Genres ranging from pop to dub to hardcore as well as a couple of Wollongong’s favourite ‘out of towners’ coming to join the party,” spruiks Radburn. “The local scene must be supported so come and check out some of the bands killing it right now be fore they take over the world.”
While BF5: Das Schmeltz Haus will be graced by the talents of Andy Garvey, DJ Elodie May, Jamie Blanco, Jon Watts and stacks more.
They all join a monster lineup featuring local and international names like At The Drive In, The Presets, Illy, Dune Rats and more.
