Gerringong indie-rock darlings Pacific Avenue have unveiled a stack of bonus content off the back of their ARIA-Nominated debut album Flowers. Not only have they dropped a Deluxe Edition of the LP, which features an extra five bonus tracks, they’ve also shared an accompanying behind-the-scenes documentary entitled SUPERBLOOM: The Making of Pacific Avenue’s Flowers.
With heaps of recording session footage and candid interviews with the band members, the doco provides a fly-on-the-wall glimpse at the journey leading up to the record’s release last year. It’s available to stream for free on YouTube right now.

“The reason we wanted to bring out this deluxe version of the album, is to share a more behind the scenes look of how the whole record began,” the band explained in a press statement. “Each of these new songs that make up the deluxe edition of Flowers were written before any of the songs on the record, and inspired the direction of sound we wanted to follow.”
They continued: “Through the process of creating this record with BMG, we were very lucky to have been able to capture a lot of behind the scenes from recording in studio, to shooting our album cover, to now being able to play the songs live. This documentary and Deluxe Album is something we’re so proud to have made and feel very lucky to have been a part of.”
