Parkway Drive Announce 10th Anniversary Australian Tour

It’s crazy to think the lads in Parkway Drive have now been killing it for a full 10 years, but rather than tripping on it the band have announced the ultimate run of shows to kick off the double-digits in style.

Technically now classified as a legacy act, Parkway Drive have maintained their position on the highest peaks of metal mountain. Starting things off in Byron 10 years ago, the band now headlines festivals the world over and are a major force in bringing similar acts from overseas Down Under.

Other feathers in their cap include Gold-certified albums, two Platinum-selling DVDs, enough world tours to kill a small horse and some of the most hectic breakdowns and riffage currently around.

The tour is set to be, “No frills, just Parkway the way it always has been, fast, heavy and fun,” according to lead singer Winston McCall, and will see the band hit some of the most intimate stages they’ve hit in years. Knowing full well they could sell out The Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, they’ve opted for the much more closer quarters Roundhouse, and similarly sized venues around the country.

Tickets available Friday, 19th April.

UPDATE: Tickets to the bands Melbourne show Friday, 20th September as simply walking out the door. The band have now announced a 2nd show also taking place at The Palace the following Sunday, 22nd September. Tickets on sale Wednesday, 15th May.

UPDATE: Melbourne and Perth have now been given a third show each, reaching out to the oft neglected U18 demographic. New shows are listed below and tickets are currently on sale. The first Melbourne show has also officially sold out.
