Parkway Drive Announce Sydney Opera House Show With Symphony Orchestra

Parkway Drive are set to make history, becoming the first Australian heavy metal band to perform live with a symphony orchestra at the Sydney Opera House Concert Call.

The metal titans have announced a one-night-only show at the country’s most iconic venue on Monday, 9th June, which will be filmed as part of their forthcoming feature documentary and live album, HOME, celebrating the band’s 20 year career.

PARKWAY DRIVE: AUSTRALIA 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR – PART 1

“For over two decades, we have carried our home in our hearts as we roamed around the world,” says Parkway frontman, Winston McCall. “Australia has made us; from the dirt to the sky, it is who we are. So, it is with open arms that we present to you this iconic event: Parkway Drive as you have never seen or heard it, with a full symphonic orchestra, performed at the most iconic building in the land—the Sydney Opera House.”

He continues: “One night, one show, one band. Please join us for a black-tie celebration of the place we call home.”

The exclusive show will boast a brand new curated set (expect the usual jaw-dropping pyrotechnics), performed alongside a full symphony orchestra and a Welcome To Country by Matthew Doyle of the Gadigal people.

Tickets to the once-in-a-lifetime show go on sale from Friday, 7th March at 9am AEDT. You can peep all the dates and details down below.
