90s punk rockers Pennywise will embark on an Australian tour for the 20th anniversary of their seminal album About Time in September.
The album, released all the way back in the heart of the 90s, has been touted as crystalising the So-Cal melodic hardcore sound, and it received Gold Record Status in Australia. On tour, the band will be playing material from About Time and their newest release, 2014’s Yesterdays.
Pennywise will take to the road with their long-time friends, Anti-Flag, whose tenth album American Spring was released in May this year.
Anti-Flag describe their shows as opportunities to access radical politics and “safe spaces free from racism, sexism, homo and transphobia, and bigotry of any kind.”
The tour kicks off on Wednesday, 23rd September in Brisbane. See the full details below.
