PinkPantheress, the talented 23-year-old musician whose real name is Victoria Beverley Walker, has announced the cancellation of her remaining live performances for 2024 to prioritize her health and well-being. Known for her unique sound and captivating performances, PinkPantheress recently opened for pop star Olivia Rodrigo, 21, on her ‘GUTS Tour’. However, she has decided to take a step back from performing as she struggles to push through a personal “wall.”
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram Story, she wrote: “It is with the heaviest heart that I sadly have to announce that I will not be able to continue with the rest of my live shows this year in order to focus on my physical health and overall wellbeing. It appears I have reached a wall which I am struggling to penetrate through.”
PinkPantheress Cancels 2024 Tour Over Health Issues
The cancellation affects a series of high-profile performances, including her opening act for Olivia Rodrigo on the ‘GUTS Tour’, as well as appearances at Field Day, Summer Sonic, FORM, III Points, and various shows in Australia and New Zealand.
PinkPantheress reassured her fans of her return once she recovers, expressing gratitude to her supporters and her touring team: “I would like to thank all of you, as well as my touring team and Olivia for giving me the platform to perform some super fun shows. I’m sad to disappoint anyone and can only hope we will be in each other’s company once I return to health.”
Following the cancellation of her opening set on July 27, it is unclear if a replacement has been found for Olivia Rodrigo’s concerts in San Francisco on August 2 and 3. Fans of both artists are undoubtedly wishing PinkPantheress a swift recovery and looking forward to her return to the stage.
