Indian singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad has announced his debut Australian tour “Silhouettes Tour”, which will take place in September 2024. This tour marks his first shows in Australia, with dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Prateek Kuhadi is globally recognized for his catchy and cinematic songwriting. Rolling Stone India calls him “one of the country’s leading singer-songwriters”.
Prateek Kuhad – ‘cold/mess’
Prateek Kuhad gained international recognition with the 2018 song cold/mess, which debuted at number one on Spotify India and gained the attention of former US President Barack Obama, who included the song in his “Favorite Music of 2019” list.
Billboard noted his progression from performing in auditoriums to headlining festivals with tens of thousands of attendee. .In 2020, Kuhad’s single “Kasoor” became the first independently released song in India to reach #1 on Apple Music’s all-genre chart.
This year Kuhad released new singles “No Complaints” and “Just Like A Movie”, written and produced by GRAMMY-nominated producer Gregg Wattenberg.
