If you think mannequins are creepy, then Paul Dempsey‘s latest music video will probably give you night terrors.
Premiering exclusively via Music Feeds today, the surreal clip for his new tune Idiot Oracle is set inside a dense wood and features him jamming alongside unnerving human mannequins and lobster people just going about their daily forest-related business.
The song comes hot off the Something for Kate frontman’s brand new solo record Strange Loop, which he’ll be touring across the country this August and September.
“With every new song and each new record you just hope to chisel everything a little cleaner than last time, paint the scenery in more precise detail and give some extra dimensions to the stories and also to have as much fun as possible creating all the accompanying noise,” Dempsey said of the new LP. “I feel completely satisfied that I’ve done that with this record.”
Demps-dogs’ album Strange Loop is out now. Make sure to catch his upcoming tour dates, alongside the video premiere of Idiot Oracle, below.
