Just under two weeks out from Meredith’s Golden Plains festival and the lineup has taken a hit, with New York-based musician Princess Nokia pulling out of the festival.
The House Of Mince announced the news earlier today on their Facebook page, revealing the reason the the artist had to pull out was down to ailing health.
In a statement Princess Nokia said “due to extreme exhaustion and health concerns from a hectic touring schedule I will be unable to make it to my shows in Australia. We are already working on new dates and I look forward to seeing all my fans in Australia this year.”
The House Of Mince has already indicated that all tickets for her headline shows will be refunded.
Golden Plains Twitter account confirmed the news but the festival has not let slip on whether Princess Nokia’s spot on the lineup will be filled before the festival.
