Thursday, April 7 is set to be an important day for fans of The Prodigy. Not only do they get to celebrate the birthdays of William Wordsworth, Billie Holliday, Ravi Shankar and Francis For Coppola, they can also get themselves along to selected Hoyts cinemas across Australia for the screening of the new film from The Prodigy, World’s On Fire, as detailed by InTheMix
This is rather a special thing, as the film will be available to be seen in cinemas for one day only. The movie is concert film from the biggest show the dance veterans have ever played, at the Milton Keynes Bowl as part of their own Warrior’s Dance Festival in 2010. The event also featured sets from Australia’s own Pendulum, Chase & Status, and hardcore punks Gallows. The show took place in front of 65,000 people.
In the film, The Prodigy perform 17 tracks, including signature ‘tunes’ Firestarter, Breathe and Out of Space. The band engineered the audio themselves, while a trailer for the film can be found below.
