Oi just so yas know, Melbourne’s putrid purveyors of grindcore King Parrot are coming to Sydney for one night only to play a show that won’t cost you anything.
Well, maybe your soul. But otherwise:
Fresh from wrapping up a massive tour of the US with their good m8 Phil Anselmo and his band The Illegals, the extreme metal crew will be chucking a homecoming victory bash at Sydney’s own version of the Titty Twister, Frankies Pizza By The Slice, atop “a bill to be reckoned with”.
“Eclectic as Hell but bound by the common thread of non-convention,” Frankies’ cheesy overlords proclaim, introducing support acts in the form of psychedelic riffsters Hobo Magic, fuzz-rockers Kill Dirty Youth, Melbourne punks Blind Man Death Stare and death metal crew Gutter Tactic.
“Let’s get ugly… For any of you present on their last visit, you know how deep this gets. We are talking grind and grime at it’s most mayhemic, and of course Frankie’s Pizza is the right tomb to seat the groom.”
It’s all going down on Sunday, 28th October.
Best prepare your livers (to get shit on).
