Public Enemy’s DJ Lord Playing For Free In Newtown

One of the most proficient turntablists to have ever existed DJ Lord safely resides in the highest echelons of hip-hop royalty, chilling up there with the likes of Grand Master Flash, Jam Master Jay, Mix Master Ice, and Jazzy Jeff, but come Saturday, 16th March, DJ Lord will be cutting sick at the Newtown Hotel.

Joining Public Enemy in 1999, Lord signed up somewhat later on in the project – first joining them on their 40th World Tour. But he soon found his way as a key feature in the group, rising to the occasion and replacing the iconic Terminator X.

Having cut his teeth with DJ battles and hip hop, Lord is also well recognised in the field of drum and bass, bringing together the best of both his worlds into one tasty track.

You saw his skills on the DVD, DJ Lord The Turntablist Chronicles. Now it’s our turn to take it all in live, and what’s more, shit’s 100% free! Bam. Thundamental’s very own DJ Morgs will be warming up on the night.
