Queens Of The Stone Age Announce Acoustic Hobart Charity Show

With Queens Of The Stone Age‘s 2018 Australian tour right around the corner, Josh Homme and co. have announced a last-minute charity concert in Hobart.

Taking place in the middle of their national tour this September, the completely acoustic concert will take place within Hobart’s MONA (Museum of Old and New Art), specifically the Nolan Gallery.

In a statement, Homme spoke about the decision to play this show.

“Playing Tasmania is special for me,” Homme said.

“I sit with [wife] Brody [Dalle]’s Mum and enjoy the wild, utterly Australian beauty. I think Mona is a perfect example of Tassie individuality, so playing there is an honour. As a token of our appreciation, we will donate all proceeds to the Royal Hobart Hospital Children’s Ward.”

Tickets to this special concert will be available this coming Thursday. Check out details below.

QOTSA are currently touring the world off the back of their latest album, Villains. Catch all of their other Aussie tour dates right here.
