Radiohead dude Jonny Greenwood is releasing his 2014 collab with the Australian Chamber Orchestra on vinyl.
ICYMI: the axeman teamed up with the down under ensemble three years ago to produce Water, a piece of music inspired by the final couplet of Phillip Larkin’s poem of the same name.
The piece was commissioned and performed in conjunction with the symphony, who toured it live with Greenwood across Australia, Dublin and the United Kingdom.
And now the piece will be available to stuff in your record crate, with the Australian Chamber Orchestra to release a vinyl edition on November 10th.
“The first AUS classical vinyl in over 2 decades,” they tweeted.
Meanwhile, in other Radiohead news, the band recently caused a stir following their not-so-positive reaction to being nominated in this year’s crop of Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees.
