Passenger – Whispers
2013 was the year that UK singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, calling himself Passenger as he has for six albums now, charmed listeners with a sweetly-sung ballad that topped the charts in 20 countries. Passenger will now follow-up that incredible year with a new LP, titled Whispers.
The album is slated for release on Friday, 6th June via Black Crow Records and Inertia, featuring a mix of new songs and ones dating back to before Passenger took the world by storm with Let Her Go. Each has evolved on the stage and on streets everywhere from Amsterdam to Australia.

Liars – Mess
The highly anticipated return from Los Angeles three-piece Liars is out Friday, 11th April via Create/Control / Mute. Titled Mess, it’s being hailed as the band’s most forceful and defiant effort, filled with primal bursts of ritualistic electronics, angry, ecstatic rhythms, and pumping hooks.
“That song acknowledges the problems you’ve got – maybe you have a messed-up head or something – and by acknowledging it and using it in a way that you can vocalise and get out of your system is much more cathartic,” said vocalist Angus Andrew of new single Mess on a Mission.

The Hold Steady – Teeth Dreams
Your favourite bar band have returned and they’ve brought the Cityscape Skins with them. Teeth Dreams sees Brooklyn, NY rock outfit The Hold Steady return to the critically acclaimed, lyrically dense storytelling songs that first endeared them to fans on 2004’s explosive Almost Killed Me.
Teeth Dreams is The Hold Steady’s sixth studio effort and their first on their own Positive Jams imprint, via new label Washington Square. The album’s Australian release goes down Friday, 2nd May, with the album set to feature three tracks exclusive to the Australian release.
