Just two days ago Feeds reported that Regina Spektor would be coming down. We didn’t have too much information then, but now we have it all.
Spektor has been fairly good to her Aussie fans, stopping by last year for Splendour in the Grass as well as a series of shows back in ’10, including a stint at Sydney’s Opera House that sold out in the blink of an eye. Now, I wasn’t there for her Splendour performance, but apparently the stage was packed with fans, so this will be great news for those who didn’t brave the crowds or who missed out on tix.
Regi will be returning again in December, bringing with her her most recent release What We Saw From the Cheap Seats, which was released in May. That would be another album that has blown minds following in the same footsteps as her highly successful 2009 record, Far.
This run of dates is one of the most comprehensive Spektor has confirmed for Australia and will include a stop-off in most major cities, kicking off in New Zealand also.
