Melbourne hip hop duo REMI and Botswana-raised Sampa The Great are reuniting for a co-headline national tour, which will make its way around the country between June and July.
The ‘Fire Sign’ tour is set to hit Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Darwin, and will see the two acts alternate their set times each night before coming together to close out each show.
REMI (that’s Remi Kolawole and collaborator Sensible J) and Sampa The Great are also promising surprise guests in each city, as well as some hand-picked support acts.
REMI worked with Sampa in 2016 on ‘For Good’, which would become the first single lifted from REMI’s latest album Divas And Demons. Sampa, on the other hand, took her latest project HERoes on the road late last year, while also performing at Laneway and This That festivals.
