Robbie Williams Announces New Anniversary Album, XXV

Celebrating 25 years of music and success, Robbie Williams has announced a new album in XXV.

The record marks the British singer’s milestone anniversary and features a collection of Williams’ biggest hits, re-orchestrated and recorded with the Metropole Orkest out of The Netherlands.

Arrangers Jules Buckley, Guy Chambers and Steve Sidwell worked with Williams on revitalising this collection of music, set to be released this September 9th in standard and deluxe copies on CD, as well as vinyl and cassette.

To tease it out, Williams has released a new version of his hit ‘Angels’, which can be checked out below.

It’s proving to be a big year for Robbie Williams, who was recently in Australia for the filming of his forthcoming biopic.

Of the new record, he says, “I’m so excited to announce my new album XXV which celebrates many of my favourite songs from the past 25 years. Each track has a special place in my heart so it was a real thrill to record them again with the Metropole Orkest. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”

The deluxe version of XXV comes in at a whopping 29 tracks and features the likes of ‘Better Man’, ‘Into The Silence’, ‘Lazy Days’ and more.
