Aussie electro-poppers Rogue Traders are back in action, and are working on new material as the follow-up to their 2011 album Night Of The Living Drums.
Rogue Traders frontwoman Natalie Bassingthwaighte has told News Corp Australia that she’s now focusing on her music career after appearing on Channel Ten‘s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, and has returned to the studio to record new music with Rogue Traders, which should be out before the end of the year.
“They’ve been working on some material while I’ve been away,” she said. “There’s some stuff in the pipeline which I’m really looking forward to.”
“We want to make great music and we want to perform live,” Bassingthwaighte also told Channel Nine.
Rogue Traders split in November 2011, before reforming with Bassingthwaighte in 2015 and going on to play a small number of live shows. The band haven’t announced any gigs for 2017 just yet, but it seems like that could change relatively soon.
