Royel Otis have shared details of their homecoming Australian tour, with a run of shows booked in for October 2025. The dates are part of the Sydney indie-rock duo’s Meet Me In The Car world tour, which is in support of their upcoming second studio album Hickey – which arrives next month. “Australia, we’ve heard you loud and clear,” the band wrote in a statement shared to their social media. “We can’t wait to be back in Aus and dancing with you.” The band’s last national tour took place in February 2024, while the last time the band headlined in Australia at all was back in December 2024, when they performed at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion – a show that sold out the day that it went on sale. Since then, the band have been touring extensively overseas – including performances at Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival and the Governors Ball in New York City.

Hickey arrives some 18 months after the duo’s debut album Pratts & Pain, which was released in February 2024. The album was one of the most successful Australian releases of the year, debuting at number 10 on the ARIA Albums Chart locally and going on to win four ARIA Awards at that year’s ceremony: Best Group, Best Rock Album, Best Produced Release and Best Engineered Release.

A pre-sale for the tour will run from 10am local time on Thursday, July 10th. General sale will then follow on Monday, July 14th – again at 10am local time. Both can be accessed via Frontier Touring.
