Royston Vasie Announce 2024 Australian Tour

Melbourne/Naarm band Royston Vasie are set to celebrate their latest album, ‘Through The Canopies,’ with an Australian tour starting this month. The Australian leg of their tour begins tomorrow, June 7, at The Retreat in Brunswick.

‘Through The Canopies,’ released last month, marks Royston Vasie’s first album since 2018. The album showcases the band’s most refined work yet, featuring 12 tracks with clever lyrics, sunny yet somber vocals, and jangly guitars.

The band’s new sound is more distinctly Australiana, reminiscent of The Go-Betweens, a shift from their previous influences like Black Lips and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
