After selling out shows across the UK, Europe and Asia, Sydney wunderkind Ruel has today announced news of his biggest Australian tour yet, set to be taking place across September and October in some of the country’s largest venues.
The ARIA-award winning artist will be releasing his highly anticipated second EP FREE TIME in a little over a month on Friday, 13th September, so you’ll get a bit of time to soak in his new music before he brings it to the stage.
Kicking off at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, the tour will see him then take to Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide, Festival Hall in Melbourne, a quick pop over to Shed 10 in Auckland, back over to Hobart to perform at the Odeon and finally, he’ll be wrapping things up at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney.
Though he’s spent most of the last year on the road, FREE TIME will see Ruel showcasing what he’s learnt along the way. The release comes off the back of a pretty relentless touring schedule, and will see him teaming up once again with Grammy award-winning producer M-Phazes, as well as bringing in a huge cast of collaborators, including Sarah Aarons, Tobias Jesso Jr., Joseph Angel, Nick Long and Wrabel.
Though he’s only 16 years old, Ruel’s proven himself a global force to be reckoned with, captivating audiences with his sound and songwriting ability that sees him crafting music well beyond his years.
