RÜFÜS DU SOL have officially shared a completely remixed version of their 2024 album, Inhale / Exhale. The project follows on from their two previous remix albums in the same spirit, 2019’s Solace Remixed and 2022’s Surrender (Remixes). Its release was pre-empted by the release of two of its remixes: ‘Music Is Better’, remixed by Belgian DJ Maxi Meraki last July, and ‘In The Moment’, put together by the Swiss production duo Adriatique, at the start of April.
Inhale/Exhale Remixed is composed entirely of contributions from international DJs and producers. This includes Arodes from Spain, Nitefreak from Zimbabwe, Emanuel Satie from Germany and Francis Mercier from Haiti. Adriatique are the only contributing act to the project that have appeared on a RÜFÜS DU SOL remix album before, having previously remixed ‘On My Knees’ in 2022.

Inhale / Exhale, the band’s fifth album, was released in October of 2024. It debuted at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart upon release, and went on to be the 20th best-selling Australian album of the year. Its lead single, ‘Music Is Better’, found itself nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Release at that year’s ARIA Awards, with the band also nominated for Best Group and Best Australian Live Act. A second single, ‘Lately’, was also nominated for an ARIA – in the Best Video category. November 2025 will see the trio undertake their first-ever arena tour in their home country.
