Good news for Nickelodeon kids — we’re getting two iconic revivals in the form of Rugrats and The Fairly OddParents. The shows are being rebooted by new US streaming service Paramount+.
Rugrats, which left our screens (but not hearts) back in 2004 is coming back with the same group of toddlers. Tommy Pickles, his bestie Chuckie, his cousin Angelica, and the twins Phil and Lil DeVille are making a comeback.
Even better, the show is set to have mostly the same voice cast. Returning will be E.G. Daily (Tommy), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie Finster), Cheryl Chase (Angelica Pickles), Cree Summer (Susie Carmichael) and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil).
The Fairly OddParents is set to return too. Timmy Turner and his chaotic fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda are reportedly coming back in a live action form.
Wiiiild.
The shows will premiere on Paramount+, which lands on Thursday, 4th March.
Rugrats originally ran between 1991 and 2004. The Fairly OddParents had a massive 17 seasons between 2001 and 2017.
