California punks Say Anything have revealed that they’re bringing their In Defense anniversary tour to Australia in 2018, for some huge shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The band’s upcoming jaunt will see them celebrate 10 years since the release of their 2007 album In Defense of the Genre with two shows in each city.
They’ll also be playing three of their classic albums across the shows, with the first night to feature Is A Real Boy and In Defense Of The Genre Disc 1, and the second night to feature their self-titled album and In Defense Of The Genre Disc 2.
Say Anything previously toured Australia in 2014, and frontman Max Bemis says he’s psyched to return down under.
“This should be the most epic series of shows we’ve ever put on in terms of the ‘legacy’ of our early work,” he says.
“I predict all-out catharsis in these intimate settings and an awesome experience losing myself in the narrative of each of these albums played in their entirety.”
So get ready to relive tracks like ‘Shiksa (Girlfriend)’ and ‘Hate Everyone’ while you check out all the tour dates and ticket details, below.
