Shannon & The Clams Announce 2025 Australian Tour

Shannon & The Clams have announced their return to Australia for January 2025, continuing their world tour in support of their seventh studio album The Moon Is In The Wrong Place. The tour, announced today (October 31st), is a mix of capital cities and regional centres on the east coast. The full list of tour dates, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.

In a statement shared to their social media, the band played off the Halloween timing of their tour announcement by quipping: “We were visited in a fever dream by the spirit of the Great Pumpkin, who commanded us to journey Down Under to fulfill our solemn duty to the denizens of Oz.”

The Oakland garage-rock/doo-wop band were last in Australia circa July 2022, where they performed at that year’s ill-fated Splendour In The Grass and also undertook their own run of sideshows around the country.

Following their tour in support of 2021’s Year Of The Spider, the band unexpectedly encountered tragedy when Joe Haener – the fiancé of eponymous frontwoman Shannon Shaw – was killed in a car accident. This influenced the lyrical and creative direction of The Moon Is In The Wrong Place, with the band once again working with The Black KeysDan Auerbach.
