Kiwi rock veterans Shihad will co-headline New Zealand frolic Rhythm & Alps 2015, leading the second round of lineup announcements, which have just been unveiled.
The band, who were also called Pacifier for a brief and awkward spell post-9/11, are the festival’s co-headlining act, alongside the previously announced DJ Carl Cox.
The homegrown heroes also lead a batch of over 20 new acts added to the New Year’s Eve festival’s otherwise drum & bass-heavy lineup, including Spycc, Kakapo and Alby.
They join previously announced acts Chali 2na, Aussie lads Sticky Fingers, Opiou and stacks more.
The biggest New Year’s party in the Southern Lakes, Rhythm & Alps 2015 will run over two days in the Cardrona Valley near Wanaka from December 30th-31st.
Early bird tickets have now SOLD OUT, with day tickets on sale now.
