Hear Silverchair’s Daniel Johns Feature On New M-Phazes Track ‘Bad Behaviour’

Gold Coast producer and artist M-Phazes has teamed up with Australian rock royalty, linking with his friend Daniel Johns of Silverchair and Dreams fame for new track ‘Bad Behaviour’.

The aggressive new song packs a heap of urgent percussion and some repetitive, catchy lyrics from Johns.

“‘Bad Behaviour’ isn’t our first nor our last collaboration, but it might be the most menacing record we ever make together,” says Johns.

Also released today is M-Phazes’ other new track ‘Heavy’, which features Hopium’s Josh Hardy. Stream both songs, below.

“After eight years of co-writes, re-writes, label politics, building studios and relocating to LA, I’m finally ready to release a collection of new music that almost never saw the light of day,” says M-Phazes.

“I’m constantly producing music for other artists but always found it hard to really ‘finish’ my own songs. Those feelings of ‘is this good enough?’ created a weight of expectation that dragged me down.

“I know I’m not the only one who goes through this and I feel like it’s a big problem throughout the artistic community.”

Yesterday, M-Phazes received an ARIA nomination for Engineer of the Year for his work on Amy Shark’s track ‘I Said Hi’.
