Unify Gathering just got a whole lot more anthemic, with Melbourne favourites Slowly Slowly today announcing that they’ll be joining the party in January.
The festival, which just this week confirmed that it’ll be going ahead for 2022, is already boasting a stacked line-up featuring the likes of Violent Soho, The Amity Affliction, and Alpha Wolf.
Now with Slowly Slowly in tow, there’s something for fans of big emotional choruses, with the likes of Race Car Blues, Blueprint, and Jellyfish already shoo-in’s for festival highlights.
The show will mark the return of Slowly Slowly to the live scene after they put things on hold in August so singer Ben Stewart could recover from unspecified health challenges.
The 2022 edition of the fest, titled ‘Unify Forever’, brings an all-Aussie line-up together for what is sure to be one of the most memorable editions of the festival’s history and a huge milestone in live music’s recovery from the pandemic.
“JANUARY IS HAPPENING” said the festival via Instagram. “UNIFY FOREVER IS ON \m/. More announcements coming soon…”
With more bands to surely be announced, Unify Gathering is looking like one hell of a hot ticket for the new year. Details below.
