Slowly Slowly Announce National ‘Nothing On’ Tour For 2022

Melbourne rockers Slowly Slowly have announced a national headline tour for 2022, set to kick off in late April and feature stops in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

The news comes after the band were forced to cancel the majority of their album tour behind Race Car Blues earlier this year due to lockdown restrictions and sudden health challenges faced by frontman Ben Stewart. With the easing of restrictions and Stewart’s recovery, the band’s forthcoming headline tour will see them grace some of the biggest stages of their career, including a hometown show at The Forum in Melbourne.

Slowly Slowly released Race Car Blues in 2020, following it up earlier this year with Race Car Blues Chapter Two. Since then, they’ve also released a standalone single, ‘Blueprint’ back in May, and streamed a live performance filmed at Melbourne venue The Night Cat, recorded without an audience shortly before the city’s sixth lockdown.

Last month, the band were added to the lineup for next year’s Unify Gathering, which is set to take place in January and also feature the likes of The Amity Affliction, Violent Soho, WAAX and much more.
