As live music in Australia begins its slow re-emergence out of the dust of 2020, the 2021 national touring schedule is looking healthier by the minute. Now, heavy metal punters can add another few dates to their stacked 2021 calendars with the announcement of new dates for Steel Panther‘s Heavy Metal Rules Australian tour, with special guests Sevendust.
Originally slated to take place in May this year, the rescheduled tour is now due to hit stages in Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane in October 2021. Prior to their Australian jaunt, the Steel Panther lads will also play a solo NZ show at Auckland’s Powerstation.
If you already have tickets you do not need to do anything, your tickets will be valid for the new dates. Those no longer able to attend are advised to contact their ticketing point of purchase for a refund.
According to a press statement, Steel Panther, MJR Presents and all venues will be holding these events in the most COVID-Safe manner as possible. “We will be regularly reviewing the restrictions and ensuring that the show is compliant of the requirements at the time of the show.”
