Stereosonic Confirm First Act For 2013 Lineup

With only a couple of days left until their Thursday, 4th July line up announcement, Stereosonic are shaking things up and giving punters the power to unlock line up features in the lead up to the full reveal. Last night it was confirmed through such a scheme that Zedd will be performing at the festival.

Stereo left it to their followers to reveal the artists via a Facebook campaign that registered the amount of times a particular post was shared. Once it reached a certain amount, the artist’s image was unveiled. Zedd’s photo seems to be the only one up on the page for now, but it’s possible that more reveals are on the way.

Hooked by Interscope Records, Zedd is no small deal. Having just released his debut album Clarity, the electro house maestro has been launched to the head of the pack. Should the festival be in a position to ‘leak’ a feature of their line up such as a German producer of this calibre, we’ve got some pretty big things to expect come Thursday.

It’s not just a massive line up we have to look forward to – the whole darn show is going to be massive this year. Stereo have announced that for their 2013 event they will be offering two full days of festivities, with dates and venues already announced – check them out below.

UPDATE: Stereosonic have just taken to social media tonight to reveal the second act on their 2013 lineup, English dance producer Gareth Emery. No doubt thousands of eye balls will be waiting tomorrow night for another possible drip feed of the bill.
