“Suck My Entire Cock”: Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor Responds To Criticism Of New Album

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has responded to negative criticism surrounding their forthcoming record Bad Witch.

As CoS report, Reznor took to Nine Inch Nail’s Echoing the Sound fan forum to answer some questions about the project and explain why it will be listed as an album on digital services rather than an EP.

Bad Witch is the final EP in a trilogy but while the others are listed as EPs, this one is listed as an album. It’s the longest EP of the trilogy but that doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the decision.

“EPs show up with singles in Spotify and other streaming services = they get lost easier,” Reznor said.

“EPs feel less important in today’s music-isn’t-as-important-as-it-once-was world. Why make it easer to ignore?”

One fan wasn’t satisfied with that explanation though writing, “I know very well how an album length is and a EP length is. This is an EP.”

In another post he criticised the band’s recent music as a whole saying, “The EP must have delayed for obvious reasons… (all apologies, etc) but the real fact is lack of inspiration.”

Reznor wasn’t here for taking any of that so he simply responded, “suck my entire cock.”

In another post he responded in a more even-tempered manner writing, “We’re not charging any more for it so why get worked up about it?”

The full EP, album, project or whatever you want to call it is out 22nd June.
