Sydney’s new Emo bash AM//PM is keeping the sad times rolling this August with a huge event doubling as the Hopeless Records-endorsed official launch party for Neck Deep‘s new album The Peace & The Panic.
As well as big giveaways of the Welsh pop-punks’ new LP and a stack of other “special goodies”, the AM//PM gang have also assembled a juicy local lineup that pretty much covers all the colours of the scene rainbow for the August 19th alt-fest.
Melodic hardcore kids Perspectives will headline the night in support of their own recently released debut full-length Stay For Those Who Care, and they’ve hinted on Facebook that the show — their first in a year and a half — could also be their last ever!
They’ll have backup from local punks Bare Bones and Blue Velvet and alt-rap-rock mutant newcomers RedHook.
“July was our biggest and craziest event yet,” AM//PM promoters spruik on the official Facebook event. “The people have spoken and we’re lining up another monster evening for August. Emo Night is here to stay.”
It comes after AM//PM’s home of The Burdekin Hotel was granted a half-hour lockout extension, meaning doors will be open until 2am and the drinks flowing til 3.30am.
