Massive news for fans of everyone’s favourite WA psych-rocker – Tame Impala are back, and headlining Atlanta’s 2019 Shaky Knees festival.
It’s hard not to feel pride when seeing Kevin Parker and co. at the very top of his absolutely stacked lineup, with Beck, Cage The Elephant and Incubus just behind them.
Also on the massive lineup are Tears For Fears, Gary Clark Jr., Interpol, Foals, Father John Misty, Grouplove and tons more. Worth mentioning as well that fellow Aussie Tash Sultana ranks high up on the bill, with Julia Jacklin also playing the festival.
This signals a potentially huge 2019 for Tame Impala, and hopefully new music. Parker did just drop a collaboration with Theophilus London, but sadly has lost his studio equipment in the California wildfires.
For those interested in hitting up Atlanta for Shaky Knees festival, it’s taking place from Friday, 3rd – Sunday, 5th May 2019.
