Tame Impala drummer Jay Watson, who makes music under the moniker GUM, has announced an Australian tour in support of his 2016 record Flash In The Pain.
Watson will play three shows with Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane each getting one.
It follows sold-out shows in both London and New York which is a pretty impressive feat. He also supported Mac Demarco on his Australian tour last year.
Audiences can expect to be served up a healthy dose of funk, soul and psychedelia plucked from his three wild LPs.
The best part about this news is that the shows are in March so you’ve got very little time to wait before you can see him in action.
Check out the details below.
UPDATE 15/03/17: Jay Watson has added new shows in Perth and Melbourne to his upcoming GUM tour, and has changed the venue and date of his Sydney show. He’s also revealed which acts will be supporting the tour. Details below.
