Sydney artist Thandi Phoenix has taken a 90s classic into the triple j studios for Like a Version, smashing out Portishead’s ‘Glory Box’.
Looking powerful as ever, Thandi performed in a hot pink power suit (we love) and brought along a whole damn band.
She brings a whole new intensity to the track with trumpet, saxophone, and even a strings section.
Jazzing up the entire track and layering her own smooth but powerful vocals over the top, Thandi has twisted the classic anthem of womanhood into a super fun Like a Version. So. Good.
The electronic artist also performed her new track ‘Say It’ keeping it just as upbeat and fun as the studio version.
