Everyone’s favourite merry band of psychedelic misfits, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, were recently announced to play this year’s Meredith Music Festival and now they’ve added a string of headlining sideshows around the country to their Australian visit.
The Anton Newcombe-led 8-piece were once more renowned for their legendary frontman’s onstage antics than anything else, but the group have mellowed out with time and now just have a killer live act that they’ve brought our way a couple of times already. This time around, the San Franciscans will be kicking off the festivities in Perth on the 10th December and wrapping things up 10 days later in Melbourne.
Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday, 30th August. The Brian Jonestown Massacre will be bringing UK outfit The KVB along for the ride, who are signed to Newcombe’s own record label.
