After touring with the likes of Mutemath and Blue Juice, Brisbane’s The Cairos are packing up the van once again for a series of shows in support of their latest EP Colours Like Features.
It’s been a hermetic few years for the lads who were discovered by Island Records A&R at the green age of 18 at Sydney’s now departed Houpton Hotel. While the band has played a commendable amount of major support slots, and will spend the month of June touring with Deep Sea Arcade, the Colours Like Features tour will make their first run of shows as the headlining act.
Only recently while in Sydney, Ally and Alf from The Cairos caught up with Music Feeds TV to chat about the progress they’ve made over the years; you can watch the interview below.
Kicking off in July, The Cairos will be joined by The Preachers, who have recently returned from recording their sophomore EP, Shaking Hands, in LA with producer Tony Buchen. The first offering off the EP, Take A Card, is now available on iTunes.
