Serial good vibe providers The Cat Empire have announced a national tour for this October and November to celebrate seventh studio album Stolen Diamonds, released back in February of this year.
The new dates cap off a busy year for the six-piece, who have spent the past 12 months touring throughout Europe, The Americas and on home turf, releasing one song a month from Stolen Diamonds up until its release.
Taking in nine dates across the country including the previously-announced Queenscliff Music Festival, the band have also announced special guest, Seychellois artist Grace Barbé will be in tow for all shows.
Coinciding with the tour, The Cat Empire have also announced they’ll be partnering with Children’s Ground, an organisation designed and led by First Nations people that delivers early childhood and primary learning, health, employment, creative arts and community development. The band will be pledging $1 from every ticket sold on the tour to the organisation.
