The Cat Empire have been relentlessly prolific in 2018, and August is apparently no different, with the band dropping their song ‘Stolen Diamonds’ today.
‘Stolen Diamonds’ is the second song in a series which sees the festival faves release one song at the start of every month in the lead up to their forthcoming album, starting back in July when they released ‘Ready Now’.
Of the song’s follow-up, co-lead vocalist Felix Riebl says, “‘Stolen Diamonds’ is one of those songs where you can’t tell where things are happening, but it’s got this really infectious rhythm to it.
“The horn line is amazing and the rhythm section is playing just about as heavy as it can play!”
The band is also taking on a huge nationwide tour between September and December, with support from Odette.
