The Good Ship Announce ‘The Seven Seas’ Album Launch Tour

Brisbane eight-piece The Good Ship have announced their return with a new full-length release, The Seven Seas. To celebrate the new album, the band will be embarking on an East Coast tour of Australia, which includes a spot at Festival of the Sun, alongside Stonefield and many more.

Recorded with Josh Tuck at Gasworks Studios, The Seven Seas was inspired by the band’s sell-out hybrid musical theatre show. The album is composed of 10 songs that tell the dark, foreboding tale of “the arrogance of youth, the temptations of glory, and the devil inside.”

Through a long, collaborative process that saw the band bring new talents into the fold, including directors and lighting designers, the group had crafted their third album, which features vocal talents from four lead singers, with Kat Cooke trading trumpet to make her lead vocal debut.

Kicking off their East Coast tour, the band will be hosting an official album launch at Brisbane’s The Powerhouse Theatre on Friday, 15th November, at a very special All Ages show. This merry band will then be clearing the East Coast, including a highly-anticipated set at FOTSUN.
