Grapevine Gathering has announced full details of its spring 2022 festival tour. UK indie-rock stayers The Kooks lead the lineup, alongside festival favourites Peking Duk.
Grapevine Gathering recently announced its expansion to South Australia and Queensland for 2022. The upcoming October festival tour includes five dates, spanning wineries in WA’s Swan Valley, SA’s McLaren Vale, VIC’s Yarra Valley, NSW’s Hunter Valley, and QLD’s Mount Cotton.
Founded in Brighton on the UK’s southern coast, The Kooks are remembered for their string of mid-2000s indie hits, including ‘Naive’ and ‘She Moves In Her Own Way.’ The band, led by founding members Luke Pritchard (vocals) and Hugh Harris (guitar), will release their sixth album, 10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark, on Friday, 22nd July.
The Grapevine Gathering lineup also features Ball Park Music, whose new album, Weirder & Weirder, is coming out on Friday, 27th May; The Veronicas, who released back-to-back albums, Godzilla and Human, in 2021; singer-songwriter and political activist, Jack River; and many more.
Tickets go on sale at 12pm AEST on Thursday, 26th May. Presale registrations are open now until 3pm AEST on Wednesday, 25th May; presale begins at 6pm AEST on Wednesday, 25th May.
