The Offspring have announced they’ll at long last return to Australia at the end of the year for a massive arena tour, taking in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney and Brisbane alongside Sum 41.
The shows were originally scheduled to take place in 2020, but were postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic. Tickets from those shows remain valid for the new dates, many of which have already sold out. As such, additional shows have been announced for both Sydney and Brisbane, while Melbourne has received a venue upgrade to John Cain Arena
“I’m super stoked, we’re all super stoked to finally be coming back to Australia on tour in December,” says the band’s Noodles. See all new dates below – tickets for shows not sold out will go on sale Monday, 13th June at 9am local time. There’s a pre-sale kicking off next Friday, 10th June at 11am local time you can register for here.
Last year saw the band release Let the Bad Times Roll, their tenth studio album and first since 2012’s Days Go By. The band also underwent a lineup change in 2021, with drummer Pete Parada exiting due to his refusal to get vaccinated. Sum 41, meanwhile, are currently readying their new double-album Heaven and Hell for release later this year.
