The OG Wiggles Are Programming Rage This Saturday

“Hey, we’re The Wiggles and you’re watching Rage!”

Believe it or not, these are the words that will be beamed into Australian living rooms this Saturday night when original Wiggles Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt, Greg Page and Anthony Field don the coloured skivvies and take their place on their own couch to host the music program.

The show has seen a huge list of hosts over the years, from Radiohead to Mastodon, Midnight Oil, and everything in between.

No doubt iconic hits ‘Hot Potato’ and ‘Toot Toot, Chugga, Chugga, Big Red Car’ will make an appearance, but we’re all going to be watching with keen interest as to what else the awesome foursome choose to add to their playlist (our bet is that Slipknot will make an appearance).

The programming slot comes alongside the announcement that the original four are heading out on a huge 18+ Australian arena tour, featuring bat-shit crazy supports including DZ Deathrays and Polish Club (among others).

It’s not the first time the four have reunited, with a handful of appearances occurring since 2016, all as one-off charity shows.

Yellow Wiggle Greg Page infamously went into cardiac arrest at one of the reunions last January – an event that he joked about in a statement alongside the announcement of the arena spectaculars, saying he “may have to pull back a bit on the dancing this time around”.

Check out the details for the shows below, and tune in via ABC either tonight at midnight or tomorrow at 10 am for The Wiggles Rage takeover.
