As Pearl Jam gear up to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the release of their debut record Ten, so too will Melbourne five-piece, The Pearl Jam Experience, who are taking the record on the road and around Australia this August and September.
The record is arguably one of the most successful debut records of all time. Not only did it appear on charts all around the world, but it also topped Rolling Stone’s greatest debut’s of all time poll. It was the record that kicked it all off for the Seattle band.
The flow on of the record’s success can still be felt today, with the album’s singles ‘Alive’, ‘Even Flow’ and ‘Jeremy’ continuing to be rinsed on radio stations globally.
The Pearl Jam Experience have been paying tribute to the seminal band since 2013, and have since solidified themselves as a tasteful and accurate homage to the Seattle act.
The tour will kick off in mid-August in Brisbane, before hitting Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney in September. The band will play Ten in its entirety, followed by a second set of Pearl Jam’s greatest hits and fan faves.
