The Smashing Pumpkins Team Up With Courtney Love, Davey Havok & More For Huge 30th Anniversary Show

Alt rock legends The Smashing Pumpkins are gearing up to perform their 30th anniversary concert in the US, and they’ve just announced a whole heap of special guests that’ll be joining them throughout the gig.

Get ready for this bill, ’cause it’s a doozy. AFI frontman Davey Havok, Joy Division bassist Peter Hook, The Killers members Dave Keuning & Mark Stoermer, Courtney Love, Mark McGrath and Deftones frontman Chino Moreno will all be joining the legendary band on stage at some point. On top of all that, indie rock mainstays Metric will be supporting Billy Corgan & co.

The Smashing Pumpkins are currently on their Shiny And Oh So Bright tour – which has a really impressive setlist – in North America, which famously is the first time Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin have performed together in almost two decades.

Still no word on whether they’ll be taking this tour to Aussie shores. The last time they were here was back in 2015.

The only thing that would make this iconic event better would be if Taylor Swift, who is definitely not Corgan’s daughter, joined them. Maybe next time.

As far as new music goes, no word on an album release date yet but we do have grungey new single ‘Solara’, along with a bonkers music video which you can watch below.
