The Smith Street Band have announced they will embark on a national tour to celebrate their new album, Throw Me In The River, this November. Taking in seven dates over 10 days, with a mix of 18+ and and All Ages shows, the Melbourne boys will be joined by The Front Bottoms and Apologies, I Have None.
The highly anticipated Throw Me In The River is out Friday, 31st October, arriving at the tail-end of a massive 12 months for The Smith Street Band. The past year has seen them embark on a massive sold-out tour with Violent Soho, hit up Falls Festival, and rack up plenty of their own headline shows.
During this time, the band have cemented a reputation as one of the most vital live acts currently performing in Australia. Music Feeds reviewer Frances Vinall was at the band’s Melbourne show with The Menzingers and Grim Fandango in March, praising the “reckless air” of the performance.
