The Used’s Bert McCracken Joins In On Black Veil Brides’ Studio Sessions

Bert McCracken from The Used has dropped in to add a few bits and pieces to the recording sessions for Black Veil Brides‘ new record.

The band posted a new photo on their Facebook page showing proof of McCracken’s visit last Friday, with the following caption:

“It’s a good Friday in the studio! Our good pal Bert McCracken from The Used is throwing down some awesomeness on our album!!!”

According to Loudwire, no further details have been revealed about the level of McCracken’s involvement, but they are speculating that his voice will be heard somewhere on the album.

Black Veil Brides pushed back the release date of the album to January after originally scheduling it for next month.

However, frontman Andy Biersack has been keeping in the loop through his Twitter account, posting a series of updates from the studio. Some of his most recent comments include: “F— I love this record,” and, “What we’ve done on this album makes me feel so proud.”

Biersack has also previously described the sound of the new album as like ”Social Distortion meets Metallica.”
