The War On Drugs are the latest outfit already locked in to perform at both Falls Festival and Southbound to announce they will be heading out on their for sideshows, this time straddling 2013 and 2014.
Melbourne and Sydney will both be getting a show from the outfit, who made their debut Australian appearance just last year at Harvest Festival. With each release, be it 2008 debut Wagonwheel Blues or the more recent Slave Ambient, The War On Drugs continue to raise the bar in their experiments with arrangements and textures.
Powered by creative lynchpin Adam Granduciel, The War On Drugs have confirmed they are currently working on their third LP, strongly suggesting that Australian fans will be privy to new material that the rest of the world will have to wait to hear.
